Your privacy matters. This policy describes how Giocolone ("the App") handles your data. In short: we collect no personal data, and the only information that ever leaves your device is a technical report when the App crashes.
Giocolone does not collect, store or share personal data. We use no behavioral analytics, tracking, advertising or profiling of any kind, and we neither sell nor pass data to third parties.
To find and fix malfunctions, the App uses Sentry. When the App crashes or hits an error, a technical report is sent containing:
— The point in the code where the error occurred
— Device model and operating system version
— Giocolone version
These reports contain neither your name nor your IP address, nor any information about how you play or what you do in the App. They are explicitly configured to exclude personally identifiable information, with no performance measurement and no screen recording, and they are used solely to fix bugs.
The App saves on your device, and only there:
— Your preferences: language, card style, card back, table color, how the cards sit in your hand, card size, sounds and haptics
— The names you type to play two-player games on one device, so you don't have to type them again next time
— The game you left halfway, so you can pick it up again
— Whether you have already seen the tutorial, so it isn't shown again
This is game data: no contact details, no identifiers, and the names are whatever you choose, made-up ones included. It stays in the App's private storage, is never sent to any server, and goes away with the App if you uninstall it.
The only third-party service integrated is Sentry, used exclusively for the crash reports described above. The App integrates no behavioral analytics, advertising or push notification services.
Playing against another person online is not yet available. When it arrives, this page will be updated before the feature goes live, stating which data is needed to make it work.
We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. The App requires no registration, no account and no personal information.
We collect no personal data, so there is no store of personal information that could be compromised. Crash reports travel over an encrypted connection and contain no data that could identify you.
Any updates to this Privacy Policy will be published on this page with a revised date.
